Our Understanding and Commitment:
Dream of Wild Health will do our best to provide you with a bountiful share each week. The quantity of produce however, may
vary from week-to-week due to factors beyond our control. By joining our Indigenous Food Share, you are agreeing to share the
risks of farming with us and other members. In the event of an extreme shortage, we will do our best to compensate for missing
produce by substituting with other crops or products, or buying in from another trusted farmer. However, please be
understanding if there are weeks that the boxes are impacted.
Shares will not be reserved until payment is received.
I have read and understand the details of the Indigenous Food Share. I agree to pick up my produce on delivery day or make
arrangements for my produce to be picked up. I understand that if I do not pick up my produce by the end of the pickup time, it will be
donated to the food shelf.

2017 Indigenous Food Share (IFS) Information
What is an Indigenous Food Share?
Similar to the CSA (community supported agriculture)
model, by signing up for our Indigenous Food Share (IFS),
you receive a weekly share of healthy, flavorful, freshly
harvested produce from our farm for the season. Your
purchase is also an investment in our sustainable farming
practices that ensure future generations will have access to
healthy food and healthy lives.
What’s In a box?
o Each box will typically include 10-15 varieties of
vegetables, herbs, and fruit, based on what is in
season (see the last page for an example)
o A Well Balanced Box –Filled with indigenous salad
greens, root vegetables, herbs, and other
“munching” veggies
o A selection of fresh herbs for you to pick from each
week
o Indigenous Ingredients –We incorporate as many
indigenous and wild gathered foods as we can
when available.
o Weekly Newsletter – Includes recipes using the
week’s ingredients, a special feature on the
indigenous crop of the week, helpful hints, along
with other important information about the
season
o New This Year – We will feature an indigenous
crop each week that will coordinate with what we
are teaching our youth at the farm. We will also
be offering an indigenous salad mix this season,
featuring indigenous greens.
How is the IFS unique to other CSA shares?
Our IFS focuses on representing indigenous foods to the
best of our ability and in order to be a part of our food
shares each crop must have value to the indigenous
community in heritage or health. We include unique
ingredients like ground cherries, wild harvested foods when
available, berries, indigenous salad mixes such as amaranth
greens and lambs quarters, wild rice, and indigenous squash
varieties.
By becoming an IFS member, you become a part of fulfilling
Dream of Wild Health’s mission of increasing
access to healthy, indigenous food in the Twin Cities. It is
our goal to empower the Native community by
strengthening families and communities around good food,
healthy choices and restoring a relationship with the land.
Members are encouraged to come out to the farm for
events and harvest days!
WWhich Share Size is Right for Me?
o The Full Share is geared toward families of 4 or more or
those who are used to eating veggies every day
o The Half Share might be more appropriate for individuals,
smaller families, or people who are learning to use
veggies
o Please see our example of a full share on the last page
