Street lighting with Auer Lighting:
Performance meets ergonomics.
For us, road traffic safety begins with lighting.
Besides delivering 20 percent more brilliant
light to the street, Auer Lighting’s reflector
also attracts attention with its extraordinary
and compact design. Our reflector made of
SUPRAX® 8488 borosilicate glass is the result of
remarkable optical developments using freeform
surfaces with facets. Together with our highly
reflective PICVD coating, we are setting new
standards in street lighting.

High bay reflectors by Auer Lighting:
highlights of efficiency.
The unique efficiency of Auer Lighting’s high bay
reflectors is realized using the principle of total
internal reflection (TIR). Perfectly pressed TIR
prisms are the result of decades of experience in
glass technology and the latest CNC equipment
for tool construction. Our high bay reflectors
comply with highest standards for ergonomic
light with dedicated up- and downlight ratios.
Significantly reduced energy consumption and
a reduced number of lighting fixtures are made
possible in new installations as well as retrofits.

boost efficiency by more than 10 percent.
Over an operating time of 5,000 hours per
year, a 100 watt CDM system can save around
50 kilowatt hours of energy using alu+. The
benefit for the environment: the reduction in
energy consumption means nearly 30 kilograms
less climate-damaging CO2 are released into the
atmosphere.

Hybrid lighting: more light, less energy
Aesthetics of shape and color with Auer Lighting:
reflections of pure beauty.
Auer Lighting’s patented PICVD thin film techno­
logy increases the efficiency of specially shaped
halogen lamp bulbs by up to 50 percent. Heat
recovery technology gives our hybrid coating its
high light yield. The result: brilliant, high-efficiency
light – good for the environment, perfect for the
interior.
Auer Lighting’s reflectors – developed to reach
maximum efficiency while meeting the highest
aesthetic standards. The combination of glass
optics and coatings provides more than just
homogenous light distribution: rooms are
transformed into free spaces with the most
