TECEdrainline shower channels are reduced to the essentials: their
function. They are the interfaces between the architecture and the
building service applications – in stainless steel, glass or as a narrow
gap in the floor that separates the shower area from the dry zones.
Shower channels are the epitome of a minimalist design that does
not require a shower tub or cubicle. TECEdrainline shower channels
eliminate the barriers in the bathroom and provide for a uniformly
designed floor. This naturally enables the creation of barrier-free
bathrooms with a generous character – real spaces for living.

TO MOVE
Demands are increasingly being placed on the bathroom to function as
a living space. TECEdrainline shower channels create floor-level drainage
options – and therefore useable space. The technology is perfectly integrated
in the floor – in both new and renovated buildings: The high-performance
drainage technology, which meets all hygiene requirements, remains invisible.

Stainless steel, glass or floor cover – genuine materials dictate the surface
concept of the TECEdrainline shower channels. This approach is pursued
most consistently with the „plate“ tileable shower channel insert, where
the floor cover continues even on the channel. All that remains visible is a
narrow gap around the area, which drains away the water. „Plate“ is ideal
for tiled and natural stone floors.

THE STAINLESS STEEL
PRINCIPLE
Stainless steel is a typical material in the bathroom: Authentic, permanent and
conveying a sense of value. In addition to the „steel II“ variant – the inserted
stainless steel slat – there are stainless steel grates in different designs.
In addition, TECE produces architectural designs for custom-produced
stainless steel grates.
THE TECHNOLOGY
BELOW
TECE has many years of experience in the construction of
stainless steel channels: The hygienic, robust material is
also used in the TECEdrainline shower channels: for the
channel base and the cover, or in the shape of different
grates. The design principle behind the shower channels is
a streamlined look indicating high functionality.
Absolutely tight: A water-tight fleece ensures reliable
sealing to the flooring.
Easy to clean: The channel inserts and grates can be
removed using a simple tool and provide a clear view of
hygienically smooth stainless steel surfaces.

product dimensions: Straight channels are 45 mm shorter in
the visible area, angled channels 22.5 mm shorter per side.

AESTHETICS – EVEN MADE
TO MEASURE
Shower channels allow you to do without shower tubs and limit the use of separating
walls. It is therefore possible to move away from the standard dimensions in the shower
area and implement individual design features. The TECEdrainline shower channels
are available both in standard dimensions and as made-to-measure components up to
a maximum length of 1500 mm. The production of custom grates is also possible.
Channels for every installation situation: Horizontal drain
with a particularly low assembly height of 95 mm with
drainage capacity of 0.7 l/s. Maximum drainage capacity:
1.2 l/s with an assembly height of 148 mm. Vertical drain
with 65 mm and 1.3 l/s.
