Shortly after its successful premiere at the EUROBIKE 2016, Möve Bikes GmbH has reached another milestone for its Easy Cycling Technology: the contract for the production of the cyfly drive has been closed with the local automotive supplier MITEC AG. Cyfly will be produced in 2017. The innovative bicycle component convinced many test drivers in Friedrichshafen. In total, 350 people took the opportunity of a test ride in the demo area of EUROBIKE. For this, eight different bikes with the cyfly drive have been available on all days. 165 subjects participated in the subsequent survey. The result: Every third person prefers the new mechanical drive system over a conventional pedal crank after a short test drive. 58 per cent feel cycling with cyfly is "somewhat easier" or even "much easier", 62 per cent feel it is "somewhat faster" or "much faster". "We are delighted with this result because it has paid off that we have been working on the feeling of the pedaling," says Tobias Spröte, CEO of Möve Bikes GmbH. "The positive conclusion of André Greipel is also the driving force for us to continue working consistently, so that Möve bikes with the cyfly drive will be available soon." Sprint pro André Greipel took cyfly for a spin with triathlete Henry Beck and described it as "at lower speeds noticeably power-saving".
