Sport Committee
Meet our school’s Sport Committee which is made up of
a small proportion of our children. These children are
regularly involved with sports clubs attending sessions
at both lunchtime and afterschool. They take an active
role in the organisation of equipment around school
ensuring it is stored in a good condition. They are also
working with Cedar Mount Academy to become Sports
Leaders to enable them to run sporting activities
themselves.
Ben – “Give up your play and do sport today! All sport is
fantastic”
Sheju – “My favourite sport is football, when I am playing
sport I feel joyful!”
Sara – “I really like playing netball and taking part in
tournaments representing my school!”
Jahanzaib – “I like to play all different types of sports and
would like to be a captain of one of the school teams!”
Hafsa – “My favourite club is Girls Football and I feel proud
when I get to represent my school in tournaments!”
Mohammed – “I really enjoy athletics and would like to be
like Usain Bolt!”
