WHO ARE LAO RUGBY PLAYERS?
National Team players are the faces of rugby in their
communities and country and embody rugby’s core
principles of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline,
and sportsmanship on the pitch and in their daily lives.
The health and fitness they attain through high-intensity
national team training sessions and preparation camps
gives these players tools to support their lifestyles as elite
athletes, but also to draw from later as active, healthy
adults in their communities.
For nearly all of the athletes on the
Lao National teams, international
competitions offer the players
their first chance to travel outside
of the Lao PDR. The teams meet
players from other countries for
hard-fought competition on the
pitch and, in the spirit of rugby
sportsmanship, embrace the same
players as friends off the field.
Players from the Lao teams have
embraced and enjoyed this same
tradition, forging lasting friendships
with players spanning the continent
from Iran to Malaysia.

The Lao Men’s and Women’s
National Sevens Teams will compete
in the Asian 7s Series in Bang Saen,
Thailand 20-22 September.
The Lao Junior Men’s National Sevens
Team will compete in the ARFU U20
Sevens in Johor Bahru, Malaysia 1415 September.

2013 season.
Weekly Highlights
As the teams near competition, you
will receive exclusive video and
media updates about the team’s progress featuring clips
from training sessions and events as well as interviews and
player activities. Don’t miss a thing with these weekly email
updates.
Individual Photo
All player sponsors will be presented
with a framed thank you photo of
their individual player displaying
either the individual sponsor’s name
or the company logo and a thank you
message from Lao Rugby.
Website Visibility
The Lao Rugby Federation will host
a dedicated page for each of the
competition squads and your name
or the name of your business will be
listed next to your sponsored player.
The LRF website currently averages
more than 1,000 visits per month.
