IB Psychology Summer Assignment
Ms. Sharp
Welcome to Psychology! We are going to cover some fun and interesting topics this year. To get you
started the first thing that I will require is that at some point over the summer you must email me and introduce
yourself. You must tell me your name and why you are interested in taking Psychology. This must be done
prior to the first day of school. See below for my email address. PLEASE pay special attention to the 2 at the
end of my last name in the email. IF you do not put that, I will not receive your email.
The second activity you will do requires you to read the Introduction and The Cognitive Level of
Analysis in your textbook. The pages you are responsible for reading will be uploaded to the school's website
along with this instruction sheet. As you read, you will be responsible for completing a reading guide. The
reading guide will be uploaded to the school’s website. It’s important that you complete the reading guide, as
you will be able to use it on the quiz you will have upon your return to school in August! This assignment is
worth 200 points. Please have it ready to hand in on the first full day of classes.
Good luck and should you have any questions please email. You must anyway before the summer ends!
Oh, please do not print all of the pages you need to read at school! It’s too many pages to print out!
