CAPS Parent Survival Course. For parents of children aged 2 to 4 years
living in the local communitity. Starts 16th March 2015 1.00pm till 3.00pm.
Referrals only. Course Leaders Eve Naraynsingh 07940753860 and Becky
Shaw. Venue St Clements Sure Start crèche provided.
11.00 till 12.00pm
Wriggle and Move 9.15 Till 10.30am Term time only- Takes place in the
hall at St Clements school. Come and bounce along at this lively and fun
active play sessions for children “ on the go” and their parents and carers.
Midwife 28 Day Visit- By appointment Only 9.30 till 11.00am
A medical appointment made by your midwife to discharge you and your baby
from the service.
ESOL Classes (English for speakers of other languages) with crèche.
Takes place at Rainbow Haven. Term time only 10.00 till 12.00pm and a
second class at 1.00 till 3.00pm. Beginner’s English class for students who
have very limited or no English
Baby Massage 11.00 till 12.00 pm- Please phone the centre the morning
of the session to book your place as spaces are limited. A relaxing
session for you and your baby to bond in a warm and friendly environment.
BABES Drop in- 12.00 till 1.00pm Breast feeding support group for
expectant and new parents.
Wednesday
Childminder Drop - In Term Time Only 1.15 till 3.00pm
Are you a registered Childminder? If so pop along. The childminder drop in is
an opportunity to share good practice, ideas and resources. To network and
for the children to make new friends.
Family Language- Term Time Only 9.30 till 11.30am Creche Provided
Family language will help improve your English Skills.
Adult & Toddler – 1.00 till 2.30pm
Providing children with opportunities to develop and learn by good quality
experiences.
CAPS Pre School Clinic – Once every two weeks. Appointment by
referral only. 9.30am till 12.30pm. Family based service with a child
psychologist offering advice and support with everyday struggles of parenting
pre-school children. Including any concerns regarding your child’s behaviour
or relationships they share with you and others.
Thursday
Outreach Drop In - 8.30 till 9.30am
Advice and support offered on a 1:1 basis. Come in and have a chat with our
Outreach Worker who will provide you with information on local services and
activities available to you and your family.
ESOL Classes – 9.30 till 12.00pm (English for speakers of other languages)
Creche provided. Takes place at Rainbow Haven
