Kapeks 600-650-750-100 Booster Sensitive Emulsion Explosive Kapeks 600-650-750-100 Kapeks booster sensitive explosives are high performance explosives designed to maximise the heave energy and shock energy. Kapeks 600-650 is for very soft and medium hard formations, Kapeks 750 is for hard formations and Kapeks 100 is for very hard formations. Packing and Product Dimensions Kapeks 600-650-750-100 emulsion explosives are produced in PE cartridges which are clipped in one end, standart dimensions of the cartridges given below. These cartriges are packed in 20 kg reinforced cardboard boxes. Useful Features • It is a chemically stable, sturdy product which provides superior performance and a safe working environment. • It is ideal for using in holes containing water. Thanks to its high resistance to water, it does not loose any performance even if it stays under water for days. • When stored properly, it has a long shelf life without any performance loss. • At the end of its shelf life, it decomposes completely to harmless materials. Initiation Kapeks booster sensitive explosives are produced in different diameter cartridges and could be initiated with any type of cap sensitive explosives. Slitting the emulsion cardriges before charging down to the hole would ensure better coupling of the explosive with the hole and hence a better performance.
