IDAHO MWR SUTLER STORE
IDAHO MWR Business is seeking a Store Manager for the MWR SUTLER STORE.
This position will develop the store and merchandise for the primary purpose
of serving Idaho Guardsmen and other service members training on the OCTC
during the summer. This is a new addition to the Idaho MWR Program and is
expected to develop into at Gowen Field Store and seasonal OCTC store.
Position Details:
• Full Time NTE 40 Hrs week
• $17.75 Hourly, $36,920 Annually
• Retail Location, OCTC 33400 Orchard Access Rd
SUTLER Store Manager is expected to work from retail location
primarily and supervise up to 2 seasonal cashier positions. Store hours
are expected to provide maximum access to service members training
on the OCTC and will be open some evenings/weekends. Hours of
operation will be at the discretion of the manager. The Store Manager
will also maintain a office in BLDG 710 in order to coordinate with other
MWR staff.

A Sutler is a civilian merchant who sells provisions to an army in the
field, in camp, or in quarters. Sutlers sold wares from the back of a
wagon or a temporary tent, traveling with an army or to remote
military outposts.
