CA01 Bachelor of Business (Supply Chain Management)
This specialisation is NOT accredited by CPA Australia or the Institute of Chartered Accountants in
Australia. CQ01 Bachelor of Accounting is CQUniversity’s accredited accounting course.
MORE DETAILS:
To satisfy the requirements for the award of CA01 Bachelor of Business (SCM) you must complete the equivalent of
24 units (144 credit points) to comply with the following structure:
•
•
•
8 Compulsory core units (48 credit points)
8 Supply Chain Management major units (48 credit points)
8 Elective units OR a second 8 unit business major (48 credit points)
Limits on Units:
•
•
You cannot complete more than 12 level one units in this program.
o Level one units begin with an “11” code (i.e. MRKT11029).
o Advanced units begin with “12”, “13”, or “19” codes (i.e. MGMT19128).
You cannot complete units outside of your course structure that will cause you to exceed the 24 units required
by your course.
Adding a second major (optional):
•
•
•
A second major is taken in place of your electives and will not result in you needing to complete additional
units.
You cannot add a second major if it causes you to exceed your course requirements due to you having already
completed electives.
o For this reason it is strongly encouraged for you to select your second major BEFORE completing any
elective units in this course.
If a unit in your second major is also found in the core structure of your course (or first major), you are required
to complete an additional elective so that you will satisfy the 24 unit (144 credit point) requirement.
Electives:
•
•
•
A maximum of three level one electives are permitted in this program.
Elective units may be chosen from any 6 credit point undergraduate units offered by CQUniversity. You may
browse for suitable electives on the unit index.
It is suggested that you choose electives you believe will be beneficial towards your career goals.
Work Integrated Learning (WIL):
•
•
If you wish to undertake Work Integrated Learning within your program, you are encouraged to undertake
BUSN19024 and BUSN12001 (equal to two courses) as electives. By completing these courses, you will
secure and undertake an approved work placement of appropriately 12 weeks duration.
It is not possible to complete a second major and also undertake WIL.
