REPRESENTATIVES OF TAX ADMINISTRATIONS OF FORMER
YUGOSLAV REPUBLICS MEET IN BELGRADE
On Decemebr 15 2010 the meeting of Directors Generals and Deputy
Directors of Tax Administrations of former Yugoslav Republics was held in
Belgrade.
The Tax Administration of Montenegro was represented by Acting Director
Mr. Novo Radović and Chief Tax Auditor Mr. Momir Miličković.
The regional cooperation was welcomed the meeting, as all participating
Tax Administrations are facing similar challanges, as well as there are a lot
of issues where mutual cooperation is possible, such as: joint trainings,
electronic communication and other forms of exchange of information,
harmonisation of work strategies, mutual assistance in tax collection,
protection of intelectual nad legal property and similar issues.
Further more, different ways of cooperation, such as direct meetings, video
conferences, as well as meetings according to specific functions of Tax
Administrations were suggested during the meeting in Belgrade.
Mr. Sten Srosbim, a regional representative of the Inetarnational Monetary
Fund, also participated the meeting, giving his full support to this new way
of cooperation between Tax Administrations of former Yugoslav Republics.
