Students need to sort the following statements into three PILES.

Show how different habitats support different organisms.
Give an example of how the number of organisms in a habitat is affected by
environmental factors (eg light, nutrients and water availability)
Give an example of how animals are adapted to daily changes in their
habitat. (over a 24hr period).
To use this idea of adaption to explain seasonal changes in animals habitat
for example to avoid climatic stress.
Describe a predator and give an example
Compare and contrast how predators are adapted to their particular food
source. (prey).
To make up a food chain which can include a producer, primary consumer,
secondary consumer and tertiary consumer.
Construct a food web from different different food chains.
To demonstrate how organisms in the same habitat can be in the same food
web.
To conclude how different factors can influence the number of organisms in
one part of the food chain and how this effects the other organisms in the
food web.
