After the game.
So, hopefully, you just had a great game......
Having said that, your job as referee(s) is not over yet.
1. Position yourself in a position where you can still oversee all the players (generally, near or in the centre circle).
2. If there were AR’s for the game, they should leave their touch line positions and meet the referee in that same spot,
all the while keeping an eye on the players.
3. It is always good to congratulate each other on a good game.
4. As players walk off, still keep your attention on them. Sometimes things happen after the game (especially if it has
been a contested game) and you want to be in a good position to see what can happen.
5. If something does happen, deal with it appropriately. (That could be a caution or dismissal).
6. In most cases, of course, nothing happens and you and the AR’s can now also leave the field.
7. Finish up any paperwork (game sheets) and have the coaches sign it.
8. Bring back the game ball and flags (where necessary) and report to the WSC club house to hand in the game sheet
and fill out any necessary paperwork. The Club Head Referee or a Board member can help you out with that, if need
be.
9. Once all this is done, you will be compensated for your game.
