The NetDx provides card holder and event memory, communication channels, real time clock, protects inputs, power source and dry contact outputs. Up to 64 NetDx controllers can be connected on one line wire via RS485 bus. It has a built in memory for 5,000 cards and has access to 100,000 cards by communicating over the RS485. It is programmed from the PC Gatekeeper software via the USB port using a RS485 adaptor. Picture 1: The NetDX Controller Wiring All terminal blocks are detachable. You may find it easier to attach wires to the detached terminal blocks while is not connected to the controller. Use an appropriate screwdriver to open the desired terminal and then insert the wire into the hole. Once the wire is in all the way, turn the screwdriver clockwise to lock the wire into place. The wire should have about 10mm of stripped off section to be held by the terminal. You may quite easily insert more than one wire into a single terminal.
