A time and date will be agreed. Due to our ongoing commitment to Health & Safety we must make you aware that our working yard “Goods In & Out” areas are also pedestrian zones As we cannot expect lorry drivers to wait while your consignment is checked and quantified, all consignment notes will be signed by a member of TOM staff and marked as unchecked. In the instance where there is a shortfall in stock volumes, or concerns over stock condition, your Business Development Manager will inform you as soon as possible. All goods will be held for 2 working days before being released for processing (subject to individual contractual agreement) for quality control checks and procedures. Delivery times: Monday-Friday 08.00 – 20.00 Packaging: All stock must be boxed, preferably in A4 boxes (225mm x 225mm x 300mm), unless an alternative has been agreed Boxes should be labelled on the 225mm x 225mm end with Leaflet title, quantity in box and quantity in bands A copy of the leaflet attached to each box would be helpful Pallet sizes We only accept large 100cm x 120cm (3’3’’ x 4’) strong 4 way pallets (not euro pallets). Pallets should not exceed 120cm in height. All boxes, packs, bundles must be stacked on a pallet with equal amounts on each level. Brochures must be boxed, strapped, or wrapped into equal quantities. If boxed, each box must be full, to reduce the chance of damage to goods. Pallet cards must be attached to every pallet containing the following information on all four sides Your company name Clearly labelled for the attention of ‘Take One Media’ Title of publication or name of stock item No of boxes / packs Quantity per box / pack Total on pallet Each pallet must be shrink-wrapped securely for transport, to ensure the brochures are received in good condition. All pallets must be of equal quantity except for the last (end of print run). All deliveries must have the correct ‘consignment note’ and for split consignments, quantities must be stated for each delivery. Pallets that are received either damaged or not to the specified requirements will be refused or a charge of £20 per pallet will be incurred to reassemble the pallet. Sheffield delivery notes – for TIC distribution Booking a delivery: All deliveries must be booked in at least 24 hours in advance. Delivery times: Monday-Friday earliest delivery is 09.00. Packaging: All materials should be properly boxed, sealed and labelled, in good quality cartons (where applicable) that provide adequate protection during transit and storage and accompanied by the correct paperwork (see below). Whilst you should not mix different items in the same carton, mixed pallets are acceptable providing the paperwork states a full breakdown and the labelling on the boxes is clear. Delivery of loose/unprotected items will not be accepted. Items should be packed in boxes that are of adequate strength Each carton should contain multiples of one item (i.e. no mixed boxes) Each carton should be packed to capacity to avoid crushing/damage by content movement Brochures etc. should be turned (ideally banded) in logical multiples (i.e. 20s, 25s etc.) depending on bulk/weight to avoid uneven packing Carton weight must not exceed 15kg Boxes must be properly sealed and labelled with the following information: -Item description -Quantity within carton/total quantity (i.e. 500 of 12,000) Every delivery must be accompanied by a delivery note stating: - Client name - Item description - Total quantity of the item being delivered - Total number of cartons and quantity per carton - Total number of pallets Pallet sizes: Ideally pallets should be 1200mm x 1000mm (4-way), no more than 1400mm high and 1000kg in weight. We can accept printers pallets or euro pallets. They should be brick-stacked, stretch-wrapped and labelled with the following information: Item description Quantity of cartons. Pallets must be of appropriate material and quality of construction to ensure that they will safely carry their load in pallet racking. All products must be stacked on the pallet so that they do not overhang the edge of the pallet and must be securely wrapped onto the pallet with pallet wrap. Any deliveries that do not confirm to the above specification, i.e. not accompanied by the correct paperwork, packed incorrectly or damaged in transit may be turned away and/or attract additional handling charges which will become the responsibility of the delivering supplier.
