11 stitches and 16 rows is 10cm in
stockinette in the round.
Gauge measured after washing and laying
flat to dry.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Circumference of about 45cm and about
20cm deep. I stretched it slightly to make the
hat deeper during blocking.
INSTRUCTIONS
Cast on 50 stitches using German Twisted cast on or other stretchy cast on method.
Join in the round and knit about 30 rounds, or until you are nearly out of yarn.
Make sure you have 25 stitches for each half. Join stitches using Kitchener Stitch.
The length of yarn needed to complete the Kitchener Stitch is about 3 times the width of the
hat, plus a little bit to weave in the end.
Weave in the ends and block lightly, stretching it lengthwise to add depth.
