Horace Mann Billing Cycle:
This year we are excited to offer tuition billing options to our Horace Mann parents. You may choose
between annual, semi-annual, and monthly tuition billing.
Option 1:
With the Annual Billing Option you will receive one (1) tuition charge for the complete amount. This bill
for the 2017-2018 tuition school year will be due in its entirety on August 15, 2017. Please be aware
that if the bill is not paid in its entirety by the due date it will accrue a 1% finance charge for every billing
cycle left with an outstanding balance. Failure to comply with the monthly due date will result in a letter
from Northwest Missouri State University and Horace Mann.
Option 2:
The Semi-Annual Billing Option will allow you to have the tuition cost split into two (2) charges for the
2017-2018 school year. The first payment will be due August 15, 2017 and the second payment on
January 15, 2018. Please be aware that if either bill is not paid in its entirety by the due date it will
accrue a 1% finance charge to be assessed to any unpaid balances for every billing cycle left with an
outstanding balance. Failure to comply with the monthly due date will result in a letter from Northwest
Missouri State University and Horace Mann.
Option 3:
The final option is to have tuition broke into ten (10) month installment charges for the 2017-2018
school year. Tuition and fees will be charged monthly over a ten month period (July-April). The charges
will be due on the 15th of the following month (August-May). That will be due the 15th of every
following month. A 1% finance charge will be assessed to any unpaid balances. Failure to comply with
the monthly due date will result in a letter from Northwest Missouri State University and Horace Mann.
**With all of the options Northwest/Horace Mann reserves the right to discontinue enrollment if
accounts do not have a zero balance at the beginning of the Fall (August) and Spring (January). Failure to
make regular payments could result in your account being turned over to an outside collection agency.
