All Participants Must be 4-H Members
REGISTRATION:
Pre-register by emailing: name, age as of Jan 1st, 2017, classes entering, and your horse’s name
to [email protected]
OR Register from 7:30-8:30 at the Show Booth the morning of the Show.
ENTRY FEE:
$5.00 per rider & horse for the day
PRIZE MONEY:
For each class:
1st $10.00
2nd - $8.00
3rd - $6.00
4th - $4.00
5th - $2.00
AGE CATEGORIES AS OF JANUARY 1ST:
o CLOVERBUD: 8 AND UNDER ( walk/trot only)
o JUNIOR: 9-11
o INTERMEDITE: 12-14
o SENIOR: 15 -17
o ADULT: 18-25
SHOW RULES:
Please refer to Manitoba 4H Horse Show Guide (2014).
Showmanship will be mandatory for all participants.
Gymkhana dress code will include a long sleeve western shirt & a helmet.
A 5 second hat rule will apply to all speed events.
There will be no excessive spurring or whipping allowed.
Helmets are mandatory for all 4-H members, including Showmanship classes, as per MB 4-H
Horse Show Guide.
Note: The show ring will be shared between the 4-H Show and the Miniature & Hackney Open
Show. Please listen for announcements from the Show Booth.
