Please take the time and read through the responsibilities of the Osprey Productions Leadership
Team. If, after reading through this section, you feel qualified please proceed to the application
located on pages 2 & 3 of this document. Pages 2&3 and a copy of your resume need to be
returned to the OP office by Wednesday April 18, 2012 no later than 5pm. The Osprey Productions
office is located at 58E/3102. If you cannot turn in a physical copy, please email pages 3&4 of this
application and your resume to [email protected] by the above deadline.

All leadership is required to:
 Attend committee meetings and be able to report progress
 Be in the office at least two (2) times a week totaling four (8) hours
 Must attend in a 3 day OP Training June 13th – 15th, 2012: Jacksonville, FL.
 Must attend NACA! September 26 – 30, 2012: Winston Salem, NC.
 Attend general OP meetings and give committee reports or clear absence with the OP director.
 Attend biweekly leadership meetings with committee progress reports.
 Attend weekly touch point meeting with the Director.
 Must be at Main Stages ALL day, unless classes do not permit.
 All chairs must respect every other member of the leadership team and every member
of the
organization. No trash talking, rumor milling or negativity will be tolerated.




Attend committee events other than your own.
Act professionally at all times when representing OP and Student Government .
Follow all office rules and make sure other members adhere to the office rules.
Help keep office looking clean and professional.
A. Programming Assistant for Graphics ($7.67/hour – up to 20 hours a week for 48 weeks)
1. Make and keep an up-to-date photo archive.
2. Create flyers for events at least three weeks prior to the event.
3. Create and laminate all badges for productions at least one week before the event.
B. Program Assistant for Office ($7.67/hour – up to 20 hours a week for 48 weeks)
1. Update Member Database and e-mail list regularly.
2. E-mail out the weekly Osprey Productions Update to all members and staff of Student Affairs.
3. Update the website account with new and old events.
4. Organize and create internal purchase requests for all committee chairs.
5. Create purchase requests for any items needing to be purchased
7. Assist in creating the POPS badges.
8. Maintain inventory of all office supplies and order when needed.
9. Maintain Osprey Productions Calendars.
10. Keep the office managed and organized at all times.
11. Meet weekly with the director for any updates and special projects.
C. Committee Chairpersons ($800 Scholarship)

a. Have meetings with corresponding committee. Create an agenda and keep within
committee folder for late perusal.
b. Must be able to attend their own event in its entirety or clear absence with Director or
Assistant Director and ask a trustworthy POPs, member or leadership to fill their absence.
c. Must be in the office at least two times a week for a minimum of 8 hours, with office hours
posted.
d. Work with different organizations to the best of their ability.
e. Must distribute their own flyers at least one week prior to their event.
f. Must meet with the Program Assistant at least three weeks prior to their event to create a
flyer if needed.
g. Must create and distribute road signs with POPs and members at least one week prior to their
event.
h. Must create social media event at least 15 days prior to their event.
i. Initiate event approval forms, contracts, and any other forms that may be needed for an
event.
j. Follow event checklist in Committee Chair binder.
k. Responsible for setup/cleanup and maintaining control during individual events.
l. Must plan at least 4 events per semester.
2. Current OP Committee Chairperson Jobs
a. The Playlist Committee. Playlist will be in charge of smaller-scale music events, including, but
not limited to: outdoor festivals, coffee houses, club events and acoustic shows.
b. Soap Box Ed Committee (SBE). SBE will be in charge of speakers, open mic nights, and other
events corresponding with educational and free speech ideals.
c. Shenanigans Committee. Shenanigans will plan random events including, but not limited to:
inflatables in the UNF Student Union, karaoke nights, novelty events, trivia nights and
magicians or comedians.
d. Stage and Screen Committee (S&S). Stage and Screen will plan movies with concessions in
the Student Union Auditorium or other locations on campus. This committee will host one dive
in movie per year. Stage and Screen will also plan at least one stage performance each
year.
e. Public Relations Committee (PR). The PR committee will be responsible in assisting the agency
with promoting upcoming events. Managing production of road signs, banners, flyers and
tabling for events and other promotion. Updating the Osprey Productions social media sites.
Recruiting members via networking, tabling and other creative forms of recruitment.
