Roof lanterns
Roof lanterns are an effective way of
increasing the light and space in current
rooms. Adding a glazed lantern at the
top of the stairwell has flooded light
into this basement and entrance hall.
It is a great joy - and an experience,
even - to be in a room without a low
or flat standard ceiling. High or vaulted
ceilings, whatever their finish, create
spaces that never fail to impress.
