Costa Rica OCC Mission Team
YAY! I am so excited to be heading to Costa Rica with Samaritan's
Purse! Over the years, I have personally packed dozens of Operation
Christmas Child shoeboxes, praying for each child who would
receive them. I have also helped with church & community shoebox
collection, & at the Calgary distribution warehouse. For many years I
have dreamed of personally passing out OCC boxes, hugs & smiles to
these precious little ones! I look forward to finally doing this and
experiencing firsthand the amazing work God is doing through this
program!
We will also be offering The Greatest Journey discipleship program
to the children who receive the shoeboxes - to share with them the
most precious gift of all: Jesus.

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s
Purse, an international Christian relief and
development organization. Shoebox gifts filled with
hygiene items, school supplies, and toys are given to
children regardless of gender, race, or religion.

Samaritan's Purse Canada is audited annually by an independent public accounting firm, and our financial statement is available upon request. Our Board of
Directors has established the policy that all contributions designated for a specified project shall be applied to that project, with up to ten percent to be used
for administering the gifts if needed. Occasionally we receive more contributions for a given project than can be wisely applied to the project. When that
happens, we use these funds to meet a similar pressing need. It is our policy to meet the needs God lays before us, so that Christ is lifted up and the Gospel
is advanced.
