HAP FLANGE – HAP flange can be placed directly in touch with tympanic
membrane.
TYMPANUM FIXATION – The porosity of the prosthesis allows fixation
to the tympanum thanks to two characteristics: A physical link is created
when fibroblasty enters the pores and a chemical link is created thanks to
hydroxilapatite bioactivity.
ARMONIC TITANIUM SPRING – the soft movement of the spring allows
the compensation of the tympanic membrane movement.
The table shows the maximum range between the extended and compressed version.
After mesuring using the microsurgical measuring device, cod. 02.14,
it is advised to use the prosthesis with the same length. The prosthesis
oscillatory movements allows an easy insertion of the prosthesis under the
malleus handle.
A small groove is in place for the malleus handle. If the malleus handle is
not available, the flange of the prosthesis can be put directly in touch with
the tympanic membrane. The smooth edges of the groove do not create
decubitus.
