FHC has added 10 Specialty Certifications through our online CE provider IPCed! Completion of each
program comes with a certificate and specialty pin to add to your badge/lanyard to show your expertise!

Complete Specialty Certifications online through IPCed and move from 1-Star to 5-Star rating
as a HCP with FHC.
 To start, you must be signed up for IPCed
 Join the team at 1-Star and move up sequentially through the Stars (no skipping)
 Advance one Star every 6 months, for a maximum 2 Star advancements per year. Or you may
take up to 2 years to complete a Star advancement. Fast or leisurely, you decide!
 To request Star advancement after completing requirements:
o Complete Star Advancement form on caregiver portal
o Submit to HR
o HR will review and approve that requirements were met and apply differential
o Differential will be applied to the next full pay period.
Important things to remember:
 Previously completed courses will be credited to the various specialty certifications as
appropriate
 Opt-In/Opt-Out options are for a one year period (see Opt In/Out form on caregiver portal)
 HCP’s with written warning or action plan will lose pay differential until issue is resolved
 Licensed WA based HCP’s will get credit for 12 CE’s with the State annually even if 30 CE’s are
completed for a Specialty. The State will recognize only 12 CE’s a year and extra CE’s do NOT
rollover to the next year
 P3 program is voluntary
