 Ticker
Ticker is feature to create configurable information using a tool and transfer it to TV using RF
stream. TV decodes the information to generate ticker on TV according to the data specified by
tool.
• It supports two types of information display :weather and announcement on TV.
• Admin can configure the Ticker data in the SIRCH tool and can broadcast through SIRCH
network
• If Ticker is ON, TV will show the Ticker information (Weather/Announcement) after Reach
(If Reach is ON) and as per Ticker time data

REACH3.0 . Make it ON
REACH Channel. This field indicates the channel where the Seed Stream of the App-Lite Front End
will be played. It is the channel associated to the frequency configured in the SIRCH Modulator
screen. Please, refer to Appendix A for more information.
Group ID. This field indicates the group of the TV. The App-Lite Front End can target a specific group
of TVs when broadcasting updates of applications.
Room Number. Need to add same number in which you want to broadcast the data.
Finally, proceed to do the auto tune in order to get the signal from the App-Lite Front End.

• To facilitate the process of upgrade via channel , SIRCH Channel has been
exclusively pre set 46 on factory Reset condition.
• Hotel Admin can set the SIRCH default channel as per the Hotel Environment
between a range of 1-135.
• SIRCH Channel should be Cable DTV.
Modulator Setting –
Please notice that the App-Lite Front End is intended to work only in Cable environments, So
it is needed to choose between the options:
DVB-C. For DVB environments.
Open-Cable. For ATSC environments.
The frequency has to be a valid one for the specified signal type (DVB-C or Open-Cable) and
Select the correct Modulator configuration based on TV (EU or US) and press “Apply changes”
button.

1. A web based authoring tool (B2B editor), allows the user to author App-Lite applications,

2. Dynamic insertion of data into the Seed Transport Stream without interrupting the play
out. Data includes App-Lite application, PMS and RSS data, cloned data and TV binary.
