LAHS Dance Teacher Rikki Jones’ 2016
Hey Dancers!
You will be dancing two to three hours a day (depending on the level): half on technique, half learning different
combinations in different styles of dance. You will also get to perform for your family and friends on the last day of camp
in a short exhibition show. What a great way to stay in shape over the summer or to get familiar with the program for
next year! Dancers don’t have to be in the dance program at Los Al High School, nor do they have to go to the school –
anyone can sign up! (Dancers need to be going into 7th grade or higher the following school year.) So bring some
friends!
NOTE – The first two camps are for students returning to Intermediate 3 and Advanced levels only. (If you are a current
student of the program this is if you have already been in Intermediate 3.) There is a camp for those new to
Intermediate 3 and the Intermediate 2 level and then a camp for the Beginning/Intermediate 1 level at the end of
August. Please do not sign up for the returning Int. 3/Advanced camp unless you are sure you are ready for it.
(Beginners – wear comfortable work-out clothes. Do not worry about buying dance clothes or shoes – I will talk about
these the first day of camp.) The camps fill up quickly so don’t wait until the last minute. (Payment is NONREFUNDABLE.
Double-check vacation times before you sign up.)
