Does your household water come from a well?
Get your water tested FREE at the Native Plant Sale
Wednesday, May 10, 2017
2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Hemlock Crossing County Park
Limited to the first 25 participants
This testing screens for nitrates and nitrites in well water.
What to do:
1. Find a clean* glass or plastic container with a lid
2. Using a tap that is not connected to a water softener, let the water run for
10-15 minutes (You could fill buckets for gardening and plant watering
while it’s running)
3. Collect about ¼ - ½ cup of water in the clean container.
4. Secure the container with a clean lid and bring with you to the May 10 th
event for testing
*The container should be free of debris and residue. A sterile container is
not necessary.
