Lyon, January 24th 2015 PRESS RELEASE 4th edition of the International Catering Cup www.cateringcup.com French team wins the Final of the International Catering Cup 2015 At Sirha in Lyon Organized by the Confederation Nationale des Charcutiers Traiteurs et Traiteurs (CNCT), the International Catering Cup 2015 (ICC) - a very demanding contest with an improving level each year higher- was attended by 12 international teams in one of the most important show dedicated to gastronomy in the world: the Sirha in Lyon. 22 professional caterers of 12 different countries compete for the title of « Meilleur traiteur de réception du Monde ». After 20 hours of practical tests split in 2 days, they were able to demonstrate the extent of their talents to an amateur and professional audience and also to a panel of experts. Respect for the products, technical expertise, stress management, teamwork and spectacular buffets, among other, punctuated this competition. At 5pm the emotion and the excitement was at its height when Joël Mauvigney, President of the CNCT and President Founder of the ICC, declared the name of winner team: French team, represented by Jean-François Bury and Thomas Guichard, caterers at the Parisian palace the Shangri-La, won the Golden Trophy and the title of the « Meilleur Traiteur de l’International Catering Cup », and a 8000 € cash prize!
