highest quartile of 2399 Australian practices
surveyed between May 1999 and March
2013.
Opening Hours:
We are now open 7 days a week. Saturday
and Sunday mornings from 8.00am to 12.00

AFTER HOURS CARE & HOME VISITS
If you require urgent medical care after hours, the
practice phones are diverted to Brisbane After Hours
Doctors who arrange for a doctor to visit you in your
home. If you have a current Australian Medicare card,
all consultation visits will be Bulk billed. They have
extended the area boundaries and will cover all areas
including Tamborine and Beaudesert. Brisbane After
Hours Doctors direct number is 1300 466 337. Our
doctors will do home visits for regular patients who
because of their medical condition are unable to
attend the surgery.
YOUR PRIVACY: OUR POLICY
Your medical record is a confidential document. It is
the policy of this practice to maintain security of
personal health information at all times and to ensure
this information is only available to authorised
members of staff and to others on your authorisation.
Our Privacy Policy and information about the
collection, use, and disclosure of your health
information is available to all patients on request.
RESULTS, RECALLS AND REMINDERS
No results will be given out over the phone routinely
by the reception staff. We would like all patients who
have reports or results from tests to make an
appointment with their doctor for these. Doctors will
let staff know if they need to discuss your results. We
also have a reminder system for routine health checks
and treatments available. Please let our staff know if
you would like a reminder.
PAPSMEAR,
IMMUNISATION
AND
CERVICAL
VACCINATION REGISTERS
We participate in the above registers to assist in
preventative health care. Please let us know if you do
not wish to be on the register.
FEEDBACK
If you have a problem we would like to hear
about it. Please feel free to talk to your doctor or
staff. You may prefer to use our suggestion box
or write to us. We take your concerns,
suggestions and complaints seriously as it helps
us to monitor and improve our performance and
patient care. The Office of the Health
Ombudsman is also available and their phone
number is 133 OHO (133 646).
TELEPHONE ENQUIRIES
Patients can request to speak to their doctors
with enquiries, although the doctor may not be
able to respond immediately. Our nursing staff
may be able to help with the enquiry, otherwise
staff will pass the message to the doctor and
they’ll return your call as soon as they can.
MAKING AN APPOINTMENT
Please phone 5547 0222 for an appointment.
Reception will make every effort to ensure
you have the opportunity to request your
regular doctor of choice. Emergencies will
always be given priority. Longer consultation
times are available, so please ask our
reception staff if you require some extra
time. If you or a family member requires an
interpreter service, we can organise this for
you. Please let us know when you make the
appointment.
