Pilot Assessment - Lufthansa Flight Training

Pilot Assessment
Pilot Assessment
Course Description
• Situation: An airline customer needs an assessment by Lufthansa Aviation Training of preselected licensed pilots (on staff or not
on staff) in terms of their suitability for a certain function in the cockpit. (Requests from private individuals cannot be processed.)
• Depending on the function in the cockpit, three product types are offered:
- Type 1: Pilot assessment for new hires (for F/O, PIC)
- Type 2: Pilot assessment for command upgrades (for F/O)
- Type 3: Pilot assessment for new trainers (for F/O, PIC)
• The pilot assessment is carried out in one day at a Lufthansa Aviation Training Center and is conducted by a licensed instructor of Lufthansa
Aviation Training.
• The pilot assessment is usually comprised of three modules:
- Personal impression
- Theoretical test
- Practical test in the full-flight simulator
• The specific structure of the assessment depends on the product type and on the experience of the candidates, and it can be
adapted to the customer’s individual needs.
