Lesson 1.2.3 - Using Transformations

Lesson 1.2.3 – What can go
in? What can come out? Domain and Range
Quote of the day – “When adversity
strikes, that’s when you have to be the
most calm. Take a step back, stay
strong and press on”

Objective - I will be able to find the Domain
and Range of a given function
Relation: An association or link between elements
of one set, called the domain or the set of inputs,
and another set, called the range or set of outputs.
Domain: The domain of a function is the set of all
possible input values (often the "x" variable), which
produce a valid output from a particular function.
Range: The range is the set of all possible output
values (usually the variable y, or sometimes
expressed as f(x)), which result from using a
particular function.
