“PoP Marquee Sponsor” Sponsorship Package

Dear Community Friend,
The Albany Farmers’ Market is excited to be continuing and expanding the kids program,
PoP (Power of Produce) Club, for a second year at the 2017 markets.
The purpose of the PoP Club is to empower kids to make their own food choices by giving
them purchasing power. We will also provide fun activities that encourage healthy choices in
food and activity.
Here are the basic PoP Club details:
 the 2017 program will run June 24 – September 16
 PoP Club is open to ALL kids ages 5 – 12
 there is NO cost to participate
 registered kids receive $4 in market tokens for each market attended during the
program
 participants may use their tokens to purchase fruits and vegetables, dried beans, nuts
and seeds, and plants that produce food
We are actively seeking sponsors.
Any donation will be beneficial, but we invite you to consider the three levels listed below.
$100 “PoP Friend” Sponsorship Package:
 recognition on market website and social media
 recognition on a sponsor listing sheet at PoP Booth
 receive a summary report at end of 2017 program
$400 “PoP Partner” Sponsorship Package:
 recognition on market website and social media
 recognition on a sponsor listing sheet at PoP Booth
 option to host the “PoP Club Booth” at one market
 ability to display some business-related literature and/or a sign or banner (PoP
banner will be at the top of the tent so kids will know where to check in)
 booth staff can wear sponsor’s branded shirts
 option to provide a market-approved activity
 receive a summary report at end of 2017 program
$2500 “PoP Marquee Sponsor” Sponsorship Package:
 recognition on a banner displayed at PoP Club booth during entire 2017 program
 recognition on market website and social media
 option to host the “PoP Club Booth” at a number of markets agreed upon by the
sponsor and the market
 ability to display some business-related literature and/or a sign or banner (PoP
banner will be at the top of the tent so kids will know where to check in)
 booth staff can wear sponsor’s branded shirts
 option to provide a market-approved activity
 receive a summary report at end of 2017 program
Our program is modeled after the Oregon City Farmers Market PoP Club. This program began
in 2011 and has spread to farmers’ markets across the country. Here is a wonderfully

The Albany Farmers’ Market PoP Club registered 500 kids in 2016, with an average of 108
