Continuing Education Credit Program Overview This half day training event will provide an overview of true home and community based cognitive rehabilitation after brain injury. We will examine the most effective methods to improve outcomes for individuals with cognitive difficulties. The training will focus on the functional application of evidence-based cognitive rehabilitation practices, including the metacognitive approach. Clinical focus areas will include remediating attention and memory, as well as establishing natural supports in the community and managing barriers. This program has been approved by The Commission for Case Manager Certification, The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification, and The State Board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors and is approved for 3 credit hours of Continuing Education for board certified CCM, CRC, LPC, MFT, and SW.
