General Regulations
The Championships will be conducted in accordance with:
 ISU Constitution and General Regulations
 All pertinent ISU Communications
 Ice Skating Australia Constitution and relevant By-Laws
 All pertinent ISA Communications
 Technical Requirements to follow in official Announcement

Venue
All events and official practices will take place at Penrith Ice Palace, Patti’s Place
Jamisontown.

Divisions:
Divisions: (As per ISA Regulations & Bye-Laws), updated as per applicable ISA or ISU
Communications on website, together with any additional applicable updates,
as approved and circulated by ISA.
Singles:
Preliminary – Novice B (Free Skating)
Intermediate Free Skating (has reached the age of fifteen (15) as at
1 July in the calendar year before the event)
Advanced Novice – Senior (Short Program & Free Skating)
Adult – Bronze – Masters (Free Skating)

Official confirmation of transfer must accompany the application.

after the starting order draws are completed.

competitors must provide a back-up disc for each program.
 ISA SynchTeam entry spreadsheet completed as per Cover Instruction Page (fully

All competitors must be registered with Ice Skating Australia and a member of an affiliated
State Associations. State Associations to verify all members meet the eligibility criteria
following the close of entries.

7.
Late Entries:
Entries may be accepted after the closing at the organiser discretion.
Late entries are subject to payment of double entry fee for the given event.

Withdrawals:
Refund only with a medical certificate – a 15% deduction from the entry fee before the draw
and no refund available after the draw.
Practices
Practices will be advised after close of entries once schedule is finalised.

Draws – Order of Skating
The starting order draws will take place one week prior to the commencement of the event
and will be posted on the NSWISA website – www.nswisa.com
11.
Insurance & Liability
All members of State Associations are covered under the ISA National Insurance Policy while
participating in the Championships.
ISA and NSWISA assume no responsibility or liability for other persons in connection with
these Championships.
ISA recommends any person travelling to Sydney for the Championships considers personal
travel insurance.
12.
Results
The ISU judging system will be used for all other divisions.
Results will be uploaded to the NSIWSA website www.nswisa.com as soon as possible.
NSWISA advises that all displayed and or announced results remain provisional until the
actual result is certified by the segment Referee and Technical Controller on the official
result form.
13.
Awards
All divisions:
Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be presented. Guest competitors who
place in the top three will be given appropriate medals in addition to those awarded to
NSWISA members. Championship Titles awarded to NSWISA members only.
Perpetual Trophies to be awarded to NSWISA members only.
14.
Video Recording & Photography
 As per NSWISA Photographic Policy.
 The use of Flash Photography and Video Lights are not permitted during warm-ups or
events. Some tablet devices have bright video lights and these must be turned off.
 No photography or videoing will be permitted at any practice session or in event warmups.

15.
Protection
 The ISA Inc. Member Protection Policy and the NSWISA Code of Ethics and Behaviour, and
the (ASC) Australian Sports Commission Coaches Code of Conduct will be enforced at this
event.
