Thank you Carmen for organising the wonderful weekend of the brick/ lego show. I believe it was a
great success and it was lovely to see that people supported it. Thank you to the ladies that cooked
and baked for the weekend it was a great effort all round.
This weekend there is a craft show in the Town Hall, thank you to the ladies that have offered help
on the door.
We decided at our committee meeting last night to have a few speakers and outings for the
remainder of the year.
This month we are having our changeover, a speaker from Women’s Refuge will be joining us for
dinner before she speaks. We would like you to bring your Husband, Partner, Relation or a Friend.
As Viv is Away Beatrice will be taking apologies so if you were bringing along someone please let
Beatrice know on 4181085. Also the Women’s refuge would be very grateful for towels they don’t
have to be new but in reasonable condition. If unsure about what to bring I know Beatrice would be
only to happy to help explain to you. Only a phone call away. Please come along and enjoy a night of
friendship with us.
Our July meeting will be our AGM and Robyn has very kindly offered her home for this.
We will be making it a coffee and dessert evening . We would like you to bring along a child photo of
yourself and we will have a guessing game. That night the committee would also like you to bring
along a gift for our baby basket. The basket will be given to the baby born closest to 1st September.
For our November Meeting we would like your input into where you would like to go for our Xmas
meal. Ideas will be welcome some suggestions were Indian, Catlin’s Café or your choice It’s you club
and we would love your input.
Later in the year we will try and get to a show. WATCH THIS SPACE.
Lunch Date on Tuesday 4th July instead of Coffee. At Kellys in
Milton. We will be leaving RD1 carpark at 12 noon. If you
wish to come please ring Rowena.
Coffee Morning will be on the Saturday July the 15th at Café
55 at 10am.
Come along and have a chat with your Inner Wheel Friends. You can always
bring a friend if you wish.
