Family Week is Family Equality Council’s largest annual event, attracting parents from across the
globe who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ), their children, extended families,
prospective parents, and their allied friends. Programming during the Week encompasses networking
events and educational sessions for the whole family, coupled with fun-filled events that everyone will
enjoy, all while connecting and further building community among LGBTQ-headed families.
Family Week is held on iconic Cape Cod, in Provincetown, Massachusetts and in 2016 we will celebrate

The Power of the LGBTQ Family Market: Today, there are over 3 million parents who are LGBTQ raising over 6 million children in the
United States alone. Conservative estimates suggest that children being raised by parents who are LGBTQ represent a $10.6 billion market, and it’s
dramatically on the rise.
