PULSE Pulse is an in telligent wireless controller for LED fixtures, and delivers enhanced controllability, reliability and scalability. Pulse controls up to 16 independent LED lighting fixtures using an FCC approved 900 MHz frequency. It uses a mesh network topography usin g an Arduin o-based hardware platform. Each Pulse can be its own closed system, enabling multiple Pulse networks in the same facility. Pulse is available in all new Noribachi LED lightin g products and as a retrofit for existing LED fixtures. Pulse Specifications Maximum Performance and Scalability • Noribachi’s Pulse turns up to 16 individual LED light fixtures ON/OFF wirelessly • Pulse is an optional upgrade available for new Noribachi LED lighting fixtures as well as a retrofit option for existing fixtures. Mobility • Fixtures can be mounted with up to 200 ft. (61m) line of sight distance between fixtures. • Pulse is based on a Zigbee wireless protocol and is fully integrated with Noribachi’s high-performance LED lighting fixtures. Network • Network is a wireless mesh network. The mesh network runs on the open source Arduino hardware platform. • Pulse operates in the 900 MHz frequency band eliminating interference present in the commonly used 2.4 GHz ISM band. • Up to 200 Kbps data transmission speed for outdoor line of sight operations. Applications • Pulse is an ideal choice as a LED lighting system for operations in factories, warehouses, stadiums and other large outdoor spaces. Design • Pulse is comprised of two separate units. • Pulse T is the master controller. Use one Pulse T for up to 16 lights. • Pulse R is incorporated into each light in the network. Use one Pulse R for every light you wish to wirelessly control. Low Cost. High Performance • Transmit power output 50 mW. • Receiver sensitivity: -100dBm. • Data transmission rate for RF applications is 156.25 kbps. • Low latency and high data throughput. Comprehensive Wireless Security & Advanced Networking • 128 bit AES Encryption guarantees unparalleled network security. • Retries and acknowledgements for reliable packet delivery. • Self-routing, self-healing mesh networking. • Frequency hopped spread spectrum method of transmission provides immunity from interference. • Each Pulse is its own closed system, enabling multiple Pulse networks in the same facility. • 8 hopping patterns present on 12 channels or on a single channel. Worldwide Acceptance • FCC-approved radio band for usage in the entire US (FCC Part 15.247, FCC ID MCQ-XBEE09P). • Digi certifications for Xbee-PRO 900 RF module. • ISO 9001:2000 registered standards. Ease of use • Easy, push-button set-up. • API and AT command modes for configuring module parameters. • Software selectable serial interface data rate ranging from 3.3V CMOS serial UART to 5V tolerant UART. • Over the air configuration capable.
