THE SYSTEM:
VARIABLE SPEED SAVINGS:
The Titan Plus is a pre-engineered water pressure booster system that
is ideal for low to medium pressure applications and is available
for quick shipping. The system is designed to fit through a standard
doorway and take up minimum space.
Most pump systems are designed for peak conditions
that occur less than 10% of operating time. The
majority of the operating time, pumping systems
only need to operate at 50% or less. Variable speed
systems use only the minimum kilowatts necessary
to match demand. Constant speed systems use
50% more horsepower, which can cost thousands
of dollars in unnecessary energy costs. Metropolitan
can estimate your savings based on estimates daily
demands.
Variable speed control complete with dual variable speed drives and
pressure transducers allow for the system to precisely control pressure
and shut down during low flow periods with a hydro-pneumatic tank
piped downstream of the discharge header.
High quality NSF-61 powder coated components, NFS-61 powder
coated fusion bonded epoxy coated steel piping, and epoxy
coated frame work provide maximum corrosion resistance and
ensure long life of the system. The systems are available in 208, 230,
or 460 volts. 3 phase.

Variable Speed Metro-Tech III Micro-820 Control System
The Metro-Tech III Micro-820
control system uses
microprocessor based control
logic to provide overall system
design flexibility.
This ultra-compact and
affordable controller
coordinates pump operation,
pump sequencing, and set
point control to maintain peak
system efficiency. Automatic
alternation of pumps is provided
to minimize mechanical wear
of the equipment. During
operation, the operating speed
of the pumps is reduced to the
minimum necessary to satisfy
system demand while maintaining peak efficiency. The result is a fully
integrated package providing precise system control and reduced
operating costs.

END-SUCTION PUMP:

A low suction pressure transducer is standard to protect the system.
The standard alarm displays on the color touch screen signal high
system pressure, low system pressure, low suction pressure, and
common failure. The control system includes energy saving, low-flow
shutdown logic for use with a hydro-pneumatic tank.
