Below is what we have done in the past. Lets repeat this year with the only
exception being the wine. We probably only need 2 bottles of red . In addition I
would suggest we make signs labeling the juice and wine
I usually get the trays at the dollar store so not a high priced item. We can usually
recruit at least one other person to help cutting the apples
so if you have an extra apple cutter please bring it along.
-
Knives (2 apple knives and at least one bread knife)
Apple cutter (2)
Both - Cutting Boards (2 or 3)
Napkins - 1 large package for fingers and to cover trays
Trays - 3 large ones for challah and 6 medium/large ones for
apples (check JFW)
Bowls - 6 small bowls for honey
Glasses - approximately 250 (typically you buy them in 100's
>so 300 is good)
Juice - 6 large bottles (BJ's size) - often we use white - we can
cut this back to 4 grape so it will be different color than wine
Wine - 3 1.5 litre bottles - red mani. I recommend cutting this
back to 1 or 2
Table clothes - 6 banquet size
Challah - at least 16 loaves to eat and typically 3 to 14 loaves
give away to cantor, Ira etc.
Apples - approximately 15-16 pounds 14 lbs
Honey - 24 oz jar (can be slightly smaller if necessary)
Lemon Juice - 1 bottle
Paper towels - 1 to 2 rolls
Trash bags - if they are not provided – check JFW
Layout of Event
Feedback (comments, pros, cons, future suggestions)
Secure committee by last General Meeting
Need one person to oversee entire and then need one for adult; one for
childrens and one for babysitting
Transliterations – can that be included throughout
Other information (where are leftover supplies stored, what can be
reused next year, what needs to be replenished)
