Jew family. It is beautiful in hanging baskets.
Light
Basket Plants like bright indirect light. Can grow in filtered sun or bright shade.
Water
Water well and then allow the top 2 or 3 inches of soil to dry out before watering
again. Do not allow water to stand in these plants.
Fertilizer
Use a water-soluble houseplant food at 1/2 the recommended strength monthly
when the plant is actively growing.
Temperature
A Basket Plant grows well in temperatures between 60-80 degrees.
Humidity
Average household humidity is best for a Basket Plant.
Soil
Use a well aerated soil that drains quickly.
Pot Size
A Basket Plant is a fast growing plant; check the root ball frequently to see if it
needs repotting.
Propagation
Basket Plants are easily propagated. They produce new plants at the end of 1-2 foot
long hanging stems. When “babies” get large enough, clip them from the mother
plant and plant in soil for it to form roots.
