The course will focus on acquisition of knowledge, understanding and skills in cognitive behaviour therapy, its applications with children and young people. It also aims to develop an understanding of both the strengths and limitations of this approach and how it might best be adapted in working with children, young people and their parents/carers. The course will be taught through a mixture of lectures, workshops, seminars and group supervision. Participants will also contribute to a web-based discussion forum and engage in video conferencing with supervisors.
