University of British Columbia offers a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Economics in the Faculty of Arts.
Below is a list of the university’s first and second year course requirements for a Major in Economics. Admission to
the Major or a Combined Major or the Honours program in Economics requires a student to have completed at
least 54 credits including the following courses for the Econ major and selection from the Degree requirements.
