Tallawang, Willow Tree, New South Wales
Tallawang is snuggled into the foothills of the Liverpool Ranges, 40 kms west of Willow Tree (all tar access). We produce
grassfed beef, and are part of an international movement of "regenerative farmers". We are intent on improving the soil
quality on farm, and are part of projects evaluating carbon sequestration using high impact managed grazing strategies.
We are aiming to "drought proof' our farm, and our section of Yaramanbah Creek was worked on by Peter Andrews some
years ago. Tallawang was one of 22 case studies selected nationally for the Soils For Life Program,
(www.soilsforlife.org.au). Craig Carter was recognised as the "Carbon Cocky" of the Year 2012.
