In 2013, management decided to expand business overseas and established subsidiaries in UAE & Mozambique to cater to Africa & Middle-East Market In 2009, it was awarded a major EPC Contract from JSPL for 6 X 135MW Angul Captive Power Plant and an additional order later for 3x180 Tph Boilers totaling to US$140M . In 2013 PPEL entered into Steel Sector, and was awarded a $140 M EPC Contract for setting up Rolling Mill for Shadeed Iron & Steel, Oman.
