Total Points Needed for Induction: 75
**Definitions of Mainstage vs. Studio:
Mainstage: Anything listed as being part of the Mainstage season at the FRT (i.e., Into the
Woods, Les Miserables, Chicago, etc.) typically faculty-directed productions that run for more
than two performances. Semi-professional and professional summerstock theatre (i.e., Lake
Superior Theatre, community theatres, etc.) will be worth Mainstage credit as well.
Studio: Anything listed as being part of the Studio season at the FRT (i.e. 10 Minute Play
Festival, Gaggle of Saints, Holdin’ Our Own, etc.). Typically student directed, or running for
two performances or less. Includes cabarets and showcases. Frequently in the Black Box.
**Only theatre work done after a student has started college (that is, from his or her freshman
year onward) can count towards points
**Any theatre activities that do not fall into the categories above will be assessed on a case-bycase basis to see if they’re worth points.
Performance:
*Mainstage Lead Role: 20 pts.
*Mainstage Supporting Role: 15 pts.
*Mainstage Ensemble: 10 pts.
*Studio Lead Role: 15 pts.
*Studio Supporting Role: 10 pts.
*Studio Ensemble: 5 pts.
Theatre Production:
*Mainstage Design (Scenic, Lighting, Props, Sound, Costumes): 25 pts.
*Mainstage Assistant Design: 15 pts.
*Studio Design: 15 pts.
*Studio Assistant Design: 10 pts.
*Primary Stage Manager: 25 pts.
*Production Stage Manager: 20 pts.
*Assistant Stage Manager: 15 pts.
*Construction Crew/Shop Staff: 10 pts.
*Costume Shop Staff: 10 pts.
*Run Crew: 5 pts.
*House Manager: 15 pts.
*Box Office Staff: 10 pts.
*Usher: 5 pts.
Directing:
*Stage Directing: 30 pts.
*Choreography: 20 pts.
*Musical Directing: 20 pts.
Playwriting:
*Play/Book for Musical: 20 pts.
*Musical Composition for Theatre Performance: 20 pts.
Theatre Education:
**Must have achieved grade of B or higher; can only use college classes for 20 points of your
total point value
*College Class: 5 pts.
*Specialty Seminars (KCACTF/USITT/Field Studies): 10 pts.
