STABILITY AND STORAGE RECOMMENDATIONS:
When nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, ammonium salt, [adenine- 14C(U)]- is stored at -20oC in its original solvent and at its
original concentration, the rate of decomposition is initially 1-2% per year from date of purification. The rate of decomposition can
accelerate. Stability is nonlinear and not correlated to isotope half-life. Lot to lot variation may occur.
SPECIFIC ACTIVITY RANGE: >220 mCi/mmol (>8140 MBq/mmol)
RADIOCHEMICAL PURITY: This product was initially found to be greater than 97% when determined by the following
method. It is advisable to check purity prior to use.
High pressure liquid chromatography on a C18 column using the following mobile phase:
25 minute linear gradient from 100% A to 70%/30% B
A) 50 mM TEAB, pH 7.8
B) acetonitrile
QUALITY CONTROL: The radiochemical purity of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, ammonium salt, [adenine- 14C(U)]is checked at appropriate intervals using the above chromatography method.
