Treatment products, commonly known as sanitizers, eliminate impurities, viruses, bacteria and
organisms to keep the water in your hot tub fresh and clear. These are the products you use to
‘shock’ the hot tub water. Government agencies require a specific level of sanitizer in your water.
Bromate
A granular, dual-purpose, non-chlorine oxidizer. Bromate
facilitates the release of available Bromine sanitizer when mixed
with hot tub water containing Bromide. Bromine kills and controls
bacteria and algae in hot tub water.
Bromide
A liquid solution that stays in the water; now the regular addition
of Bromate will release Bromine sanitizer into the water. Bromide
by itself has no sanitizing properties. It is only when Bromate is
added that an effective Bromine sanitizer is created.
Bromo Blast
A granular Bromine sanitizing program for daily and weekly shock
treatment to kill and control bacteria and algae in hot tub water
(not yet available in the USA).
Bromine Disc
A slow dissolving Bromine sanitizing puck used to kill and control
bacteria and algae in hot tub water.
Care Free Boost
A granular chlorine formula that works with in conjunction with
‘Care-Free’ to kill and control bacteria and algae in hot tub water.
Clean ‘n Clear
This granular chlorine based formula is designed as a standalone
periodic shock when needed. It has extra clarifiying properties
and can be used with a chlorine or bromine water care program.
Mini Disc
A fast dissolving, stabilized chlorinating disc to kill and control
bacteria and algae in hot tub water.
Lithchlor
A granular, Lithium based shock treatment and sanitizer for hot
tubs to kill and control bacteria and algae in hot tub water.
Chlor Blast
A granular, chlorine based algaecide and disinfectant to kill and
control bacteria and algae in hot tub water.
