During this time, we will analyze our Benchmark Assessment data and introduce The Continuum
of Literacy Learning, which we hoped to get to in February, but ran out of time. Please be sure
to read the introduction to The Continuum of Literacy Learning (pages 239-250). This prereading will help as we discuss readers and texts at each level on the text gradient and share
ideas related to using The Continuum of Literacy Learning to support language arts instruction.
