GAME PLAN TEMPLATE
The game plan template below provides a
common format for expressing Faculty, sector,
and unit-level strategic priorities. The use of a
template is intended to facilitate greater
alignment and coordination across the university
as we pursue Concordia’s nine strategic directions.
Game plans should reinforce and align with the
strategic directions, with the understanding that
individual goals and actions may implicate more
than one of the nine directions. Faculties, sectors,
and units that have already created strategic plans
in different formats should simply summarize and
distill their plans in this template.
Once completed, game plans should be one to two
pages in length. Please remove explanatory text
when preparing the document.

Goals should be actionable, and progress toward them measurable. Goals should focus not just on
making incremental improvements but also on seizing future-oriented opportunities.
