BETWEEN RRH AND DU WITH ONE-STOP SOLUTION
The incessant demand for increased wireless network capacity and service reliability
has driven the replacement of coaxial cabling to fiber-based architectures. Firstgeneration architectures use discrete fiber and power cables installed separately on
the tower, the main benefit of this solution is that this is the simplest technology. Unlike
discrete cabling, trunk and hybrid cabling methods involve break-out points on the
tower where individual fibers and power conductors split out from the cable to connect
to each individual RRH. Especially the hybrid fiber-power cables can provide greater
flexibility for future enhancements while potentially lowering capital expenditure and
labor costs over time.

Samsung's Discrete Cable Solution is single runs of fiber and power cable pairs directly from the
DU to each RRH, it could be said that this installation method is the simplest. In many RRH network

Samsung HTTA Solution dramatically simplifies and reduces the cost of upgrade or replacement

designed for metro feeder or access network to be blown into a micro duct by air-blown
installation. As the cable allows the deployment of currently required fiber count, the micro

Samsung's FastBlow+ is applied with 200 μm coated fiber instead of the more standard 250 μm.
The 200 μm coated fibers require 36 percent less space than conventional 250 μm coated fibers,
enabling reduced diameter cables with a higher fiber count per tube. It can potentially reduce fiber
optic network build costs by increasing installation distance, reducing the number of installations,

Water proof closures are designed for blown fiber tube cable connection applications. A micro duct can
be easily connected and distributed from the closure with the use of the connecting side ports. It is a
direct bury sealed closure designed for intercepting a micro duct assembly to allow multiple spur-offs

STRAIGHT CONNECTOR
REDUCING CONNECTOR
A connector is a clip-in duct connector used for jointing two
micro ducts. It is transparent to allow a visual inspection of
a micro cable passing through. To enable cable blowing, the
connector is designed to operate at 15 bars without leakage.
Push-fit reducing connectors make micro duct splicing fast
and easy. The reducers can be connected and disconnected
10 times and still maintain the high performance requirements
for air blown installation systems.
ENDCAP
GAS BLOCK
End caps are used to tighten the ends of unused primary tubes
to avoid water and dust from emerging into ducts. They are
also used in combination with the valve end stop connector
during installation of micro ducts into existing cable ducts.
Gas Block Connectors are used when it is necessary to block
moisture (avoiding condensation) or to block gas passing
freely into different micro duct sections. This could be
necessary when changing from outdoor to indoor installation.

INVISIA consists of a new 900 μm drop cable with Samsung Ultra BendfreeTM (G.657.B3), the most
advanced bend resistant fiber. The translucent cable is easily attached to a variety of wall surfaces using

2 types of simple and discrete corner clips. The pathway management tool kit provided with INVISIA
includes a variety of these clips along with a small tube of specially formulated epoxy which can be
applied at discrete points along the cable or smeared like painters caulk, resulting in a truly invisible

What are the recommended installation conditions?
INVISIA can be installed almost EVERYWHERE. With its strong adhesive performances, Corner clips are
able to easily stick to most surfaces including wood, sheetrock, concrete, and plastic while maintaining
its adhesiveness. When looking closely at INVISIA installation, the surfaces and corners are very neat
without any traces of installation since the cables are thin and transparent. Also, no traces can found
either when wallpaper is applied. The cable fits easily inside moldings and can also be neatly installed
down the edges of bookcases or furniture. It is possible to install the cable in various ways.
